A very Happy New Year to all my sew-
“My work with textiles has led me into fashion and from there into designing and creating objects from wire developing weaving and crochet techniques. The textiles I create have inspired me to design lighting installations and a range of jewellery.
“I still find time to teach dressmaking and needlework techniques and I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and meeting new people. It gives me great satisfaction to introduce someone to the basics and see them become more skilful as we go. I love to see people creating beautiful and durable garments as their creative confidence grows.
